Why are travel stocks taking flight today?
Helloworld Travel Ltd (ASX:HLO) released a March quarter trading update this morning including 52% revenue growth from the prior corresponding period, and total transaction value rose 60% as borders reopened and travel demand continues to climb post-pandemic.
Liontown Resources Ltd (ASX:LTR) today announced it has signed an executive Offtake Agreement with LG Energy Solution for the supply of spodumene concentrate from the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in WA. Following the announcement, shares in Liontown Resources are trading 2.4% lower.
Aussie Broadband Ltd (ASX:ABB) also released its third quarter trading update today including overall broadband services increasing by 11% in the quarter, while wholesale and white label services increased 91% over the period. Investors are seemingly unimpressed with the results, as the Aussie Broadband share price is down 25.4% today so far.
