The biggest movers of the heavyweight companies today
Of the biggest companies on the ASX, these stocks were the movers.
Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) rose 4.03% to $11.88, closing out the day as the biggest winner among the large cap stocks on the Australian market today.
Coming in second was James Hardie Industries (JHX), which gained 3.41% to $38.255 a share.
Third was Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), which gained 2.78% to $20.71.
Next was Xero Limite (XRO), which gained 2.20% to $90.48 a share.
And rounding out the Top 5 was Mirvac Group (MGR), which increased by 1.86% to $2.19.
NOTE: Large cap stocks are the largest 50 on the Australian stock market. They represent just under 60% of the entire market, in terms of value.
