
The ASX is at lunch – who’s up and who’s down?
The ASX is down just 5.8 points today to 7045.40 points as a surge in health care stocks balances a sell-off in financials stocks.
Of the 50 largest stocks, the most movement has been from National Australia Bank Ltd (ASX:NAB) which is lower by 4%, South32 Ltd (ASX:S32) which is lower by 2.35% and Amcor plc (ASX:AMC) which is lower by 1.71%.
As the top 50 largest companies comprise almost 60% of the total market, any big changes to their share price may influence the overall market.
The biggest gainer on the ASX at mid-session is Galileo Mining Ltd (ASX:GAL) which is up 132.50%, this is a micro cap company.
The biggest loser on the ASX at mid-session is Sun Resources Ltd (ASX:SUR) which is down 50%, this is a micro cap company.
