IPH leads the stock rockets, up 9% after releasing strong first half results

Looking at the movers and shakers on the ASX200 today.

IPH leads the stock rockets today so far, up just over 9%, after the intellectual property services group announced half yearly results including 17% growth in client referrals into IPH Asian Hubs and underlying EBITDA up 11%.

Challenger is rallying 5.85% after also announcing half yearly results including 44% growth in life sales to a record 4.9 billion dollars, and a 21% increase in the company’s dividend.

And Tabcorp rounds out the top three stock rockets today, up almost 5%, after also releasing first half results including 2.2% revenue growth.

On the losing front,
Wesfarmers leads the losers today down 5.89% after the Australian conglomerate released first half results including a 14% drop in net profit after tax.

Lifestyle Communities is also down over 5% today.

And Pro Medicus is trading 4.5% lower as some investors take profit from yesterday’s rally following the release of the med tech company’s first half results.
