Daily stock rockets & losers; Ramsay Health Care soars 25% on $20bn+ takeover bid
Looking at the movers and shakers on the ASX200 today.
Ramsay Health Care is leading the stock rockets today, soaring more than 25% today so far after receiving a more than $20bn takeover bid from a consortium led by global private equity firm KKR.
Pro Medicus is trading 4.5% higher amid a rally for health care stocks today.
And Corporate Travel Management rounds out the top three stock rockets today, up 4.3% after lunchtime.
On the losing front, AGL Energy leads the losers today, down 6.5% after the company announced that on Friday, Unit 2 at AGL’s Loy Yang A Power Station in Victoria was taken out of service due to an electrical fault with the generator.
Regis Resources is down 6.4% during the session so far, due to a sell-off in gold mining stocks today.
And Paladin Energy is also trading 3.7% lower today so far.
