ASX Futures pointing lower after Dow Jones closed down 1.2%
- ASX Futures trading lower ahead of the market open in Sydney.
- Dow Jones closed down 413.04 points.
- Bitcoin is trading at US$40,000.
The ASX Futures is trading down 15 points, or 0.2% lower ahead of the market open in Sydney.
It follows the Dow Jones, which fell 1.2% to finish the trading day down 413 points to close at 34,308 points.
Earlier, markets in Europe were weaker as London’s FTSE and Germany’s DAX finished the trading day lower.
The Australian dollar is buying 74.18 US cents.
Gold is trading at US$1,953.30 per ounce.
WTI Crude oil is selling for US$95.10 per barrel, while Brent oil is trading at US$98.52 per barrel.
The spot price for iron ore is US$150 per metric tonne and one bitcoin is worth US$39,558 going into the Asian trading day.
