ASX Futures pointing higher after Dow Jones closed down 0.2%
- ASX Futures trading higher ahead of the market open in Sydney.
- Dow Jones closed down 65.38 points.
- Bitcoin is trading at US$47,000.
The ASX Futures is trading up 21 points, or 0.3% higher ahead of the market open in Sydney.
It follows the Dow Jones, which fell 0.2% to finish the trading day down 65 points to close at 35,229 points.
Earlier, markets in Europe were mixed as London’s FTSE finished up while Germany’s DAX finished the trading day lower.
The Australian dollar is buying 75.11 US cents.
Gold is trading at US$1,932.40 per ounce.
WTI Crude oil is selling for US$107.30 per barrel, while Brent oil is trading at US$112.76 per barrel.
The spot price for iron ore is US$147.50 per metric tonne and one bitcoin is worth US$46,996 going into the Asian trading day.
